Lifetime launches online database

Training consultancy Lifetime has launched a new online database designed to enhance the assessment of work based learning in the leisure industry.

Now rolled out to all clients, the E-Portfolio has been created to improve the learning experience by allowing regional trainers to focus on the training of each candidate via an online student assessment database.

Each regional trainer has a tablet personal computer on which all assessment notes, conversations and even video footage can be updated immediately onto the system.

Another key innovation is the ability to capture relevant data including authentication signatures from the regional trainer and student and then, in real time, communicate it directly to the Learning and Skills Council (LSC).

Other benefits of the E-Portfolio include an automated communication tool where regional trainers can set text or email alerts when an appointment or assignment is due.

In addition, the management team at Lifetime can track candidates at any time and report their progress accurately to employers.
